                    John David (J.D.) Hart

 

J.D. began his career in television at the age of 18 as an on-camera host for TV station WCCB in Charlotte, N.C.

After moving to Nashville, J.D. became an MCA recording artist and a songwriter for Milene Music Group. Hart penned the theme song for NBC's "Man Of The People" starring James Garner. J.D. was the vocal artist on several national jingle campaigns including the national, "The Heartbeat Of America" for Chevrolet. He wrote, produced and performed a number of national jingles for Chevrolet. Hart was contracted to appear as a TV spokesperson for Chevrolet for a number of years.

 Making the transition from TV to film, J.D. won his first starring role in the film, "Bell Witch The Movie", along side "Friday the 13th's, Betsy Palmer. Continuing with the horror genre’, Hart’s next film "Side Sho", won best picture at the Philly Horror Film Festival and was distributed by Lions Gate. J.D. recently co-starred in the crime drama thriller, "The Afflicted", which has world-wide distribution and is currently On-Demand.

For his work in the short film, “A Little Christmas” J.D. was honored with a best actor award. Currently, J.D. has been nominated for a best supporting actor award by the Gatlinburg Film Festival for his role in “Sieze”.

Hart is currently the national voice over talent for AmMed Direct, Springbak Springsoles, HDIS and the voice-over announcer for the 2011 Nashville Addy Awards. His voice can be recognized as the narrator and character voices in novels such as, “The Bane Of Yoto”, “An Ocean Away” and also the voice narrator for a number of “Smarter Comics”.

 Earning his degree from Canterbury University in Cognitive Studies and studying acting from legends such as Talia Shire, Christopher Cain and Kelly Morgan, you could say that Hart has the talent, experience and the Savvy to bring to any project.
